You will need the QuickTime plugin to view the Panorama and Video Tours. A special feature of the SPMC Saskatchewan Legislative Rehabilitation Project web site is a panoramic view of the underpinning project, a view from the Dome and various panoramic views of significant rooms and offices within the Saskatchewan Legislative Building. The panoramic view will allow you to move left or right or zoom in and out of the photograph. These panoramas may be viewed with all Operating Systems. Download time will vary depending on modem size. Users can expect approximately a 1 minute download time using a 56k modem with a dial-up connection.
These panoramas may only be viewed with Windows 95/NT of Macintosh OS. If viewed with Windows 3.1 you may have to restart your browser to reload your QTVR plugin.
The QuickTime movie viewer and VR plugin are required to view the virtual tours. These are available free of charge for both Macintosh and Windows computers. We have provided the plugins for you to download if your browser does not support QuickTime. To check if it does, simply select one of the following virtual tours and the browser will prompt downloading of the plugin if necessary. After installing the plugin, each Virtual Tour will take from one to three minutes to download depending on modem speed and current Internet traffic. Warning: downloading plug-ins may take more than an hour if you have a connection speed of 56K or less.
Welcome on a video tour under the Saskatchewan Legislative Building. The tour begins at the access ramp constructed on the south side of the building and will take you under the building’s East, North and South Wing as well as the building’s centre core during the underpinning phase.
