Project Details

The Saskatchewan Legislative Building Rehabilitation Project was broken down into two phases. The first phase included the installation of approximately 1,800 pre-cast concrete piles under the building's north, south and east wings as well as the building's centre core. Phase two of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building Rehabilitation Project addressed life safety and accessibility issues. This phase of construction included the installation of a fire sprinkler and smoke detection system throughout the entire building and the construction of a barrier free entrance at the building's north end for people with mobility impairments.
